It has always been a pleasure seeing a Prova coming into our workshop. This Integrale was our first Integrale order from Prova and it is nothing short of our expectation.

The owner of this Integrale opted for a unique colourway which we thought was interesting. The choice of wheelset matches the colourway of the frameset and the profile of the rims give a very balanced look overall.

We spoke to Matt and find out his journey on his Prova Integrale.

CPS : Hi Matt, thank you for building your N+1 with us! What was the reason behind getting a new bike?

Matt : I have been riding around Singapore with my aero bike for about 1-2 years, and was looking for a bike that would be an endurance bike for my days off the speed focus bike. An all-rounder endurance was the most enticing idea and not having to worry about enduring long rides on the speed bike. Also as every biker has ‘the itch for a new bike,’ guilty as charged.

CPS : Cool. What was the reason behind your choice of a Prova and why the model Integrale Speciale?

Matt : My boss suggested Prova when I was researching various manufacturers such as Firefly, No.22, Specialized, Giant, and Moots. I was immediately captivated by its design and wanted to learn more.

Matt : I made the effort to attend the Rapha Singapore meet with Mark at their pop-up space in Tanjong Pagar and was impressed by the craftsmanship and the concept of a 3D printed bike. Since Melbourne feels like a second home to me, owning something made there holds a special significance. Once I found out that  Fitskuul and you guys (Cycle Project Store) were a package, I decided then and there that you guys would build the bike.

Matt : The reason for Integrale Speciale is that it has a sleek appearance with no exposed cables. Additionally, the bike's titanium frame combined with a carbon seat post offers an ideal balance. Having ridden the Prova for quite some time now, I have noticed it has become my go-to bike. It maintains speed effortlessly and delivers a high-quality riding experience, even when riding solo. It is incredibly fun!

CPS : That is very good to hear and we do agree that Prova bikes have a very nice riding quality to them. Was there any particular reason on the colour selection of your Prova?

Matt : I wanted something that had a happy vibe, so the colours that are on the bike are the two colours that makes me feel positive. It also complements the polished titanium.

CPS : It is a nice colourway and does have good contrast with the titanium and the carbon ISP. What were your considerations when choosing the components?

Matt : Hmmmm….The Campagnolo Hyperon Ultra was an obvious choice. It is a stiff wheelset, combined with the CULT hub for smooth rolling, makes for an incredibly responsive and enjoyable ride.

Matt : Shimano Dura ace semi-compact was my go-to choice. It has been my group set of choice for the longest time now. For the OSPW (OverSized Pulley Wheel), I went with cycling ceramic, it is supposed to save watts, but the look of it just completes the bike. C-Bear BB T47 was recommended by you guys and has no creaking sounds which has been a big plus.

CPS : Great selection of components. Do you have any future plans with the Integrale?

Matt : The Prova is going to be my forever bike. It will be the exploring and
endurance bike. I am having the thought of traveling with it but we will see in the future.

CPS : Thank you Matt! Enjoy the bike!
