The Runwell PINS7710 is a dedicated tool made of stainless steel for tightening and loosening crank caps. Press-made tools can slip when torque is applied without fitting the cap properly, causing scratches on the crank cap with the tip of the tool. To solve this problem, we machined out a pin that fits into the hole in the crank cap, threaded it, and attached it to the handle.
