Staff Build Alert ! ! ! Kean Hong's Cinelli Tutto Mini
Tutto Mini ; Small Bike, Big Personality
Some bikes are built to chase speed. Others are built simply to remind us why we started riding in the first place.
The Tutto Mini belongs firmly in the latter.
At first glance, it was the proportions that caught the eye. The unmistakable silhouette of a BMX paired with a vintage mountain bike-inspired segmented fork creates something that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly different. It evokes memories of childhood rides while presenting an entirely modern interpretation of what a compact bicycle can be.
Beyond its appearance, the Tutto Mini's versatility became part of its appeal. Sliding dropouts allow the frame to evolve with its rider, accommodating single-speed, fixed gear, geared, or even belt drive configurations. Rather than being confined to a single purpose, it encourages experimentation and adapts as riding habits change.
That same philosophy guided the build. A turquoise Chris King headset introduces a playful accent to an otherwise understated palette, while carefully chosen components from Paul Components, Microshift, and Panaracer prioritise reliability, versatility, and everyday enjoyment. Every part has its place, creating a bike that feels cohesive, purposeful, and ready to be ridden.

Yet the true character of the bike reveals itself only once the ride begins.
Compact enough to weave effortlessly through city streets, yet playful enough to encourage an impromptu wheelie, bunny hop, or detour home, the Tutto Mini has a way of making everyday journeys feel less routine. It transforms familiar roads into opportunities to explore, reminding its rider that practicality and enjoyment need not exist at opposite ends of the spectrum.
That, perhaps, is what makes the Tutto Mini so compelling. It refuses to be defined by the size of its wheels, proving that capability has very little to do with diameter.

If there is one piece of advice to take away from this build, it is wonderfully uncomplicated: don't overthink it. Build the bike that suits your riding, stop chasing the perfect parts, and simply enjoy the ride.
Perhaps that's the real charm of the Tutto Mini.
It reminds us that cycling doesn't always have to be about riding farther, faster, or harder. Sometimes it's about taking the long way home, hopping the occasional kerb, and rediscovering the simple joy of being on two wheels.

Because the best bikes aren't always the most serious ones.
They're the ones that make you want to ride again tomorrow.
Built for the ride ahead.
