Argonaut Supernaut RM3

This Argonaut Supernaut RM3 is a test / display bike that was recently set up by us with an intent to allow keen riders to have a test ride but also to view the machine in person.

Based in Bend, Oregon, United States, Argonaut Cycles has previously not partnered with any bicycle shop here in Singapore and keen buyers of the bespoke carbon frame manufacturer can now rejoice. Cycle Project Store is now a dealer! 

The well known carbon bespoke company was founded by Ben Farver who saw limitless potential for carbon framebuilding. With his foundation in steel framebuilding, Ben turned to carbon framebuilding as the ideal strength to weight ratio, limitless potential of carbon offered him a chance to create a machine that retains the characteristics of a steel bike yet with the performance that a steel bike cannot offers.

The Supernaut RM3 was launched by Argonaut with their experience of custom craftsmanship in carbon framebuilding and data. Aim to deliver a proven ride quality with their proven geometries as well as their proven optimized carbon layup pattern, the Supernaut can be delivered much faster to new owners without having to fret over the layup of carbon, paint design etc.

This Supernaut RM3 was built up with the Enve Integrated Barstem that was rolled out not too long. The idea was to achieve a cleaner look as the default Supernaut comes with an Enve Aero Stem. Argonaut was able to get the barstem to match the frame finishing and the result was beautiful.

The ENVE SES 3.4 was chosen as it was a great profile for all round action. The Chris King Two Tone Black Gold hubset was chosen to match the colourway of the Supernaut and we like how it turned out when the wheelset was installed with the Continental GP5000.

The Berk Lupina Short gives a nice silhouette and compliments the overall build. It was also chosen as the saddle has been well received by many and with the bike being setup as a test bike, we hope that the testers will not have difficulty on
