Chen Guo's Prova Mostro Integrale
A full titanium gravel machine, built with intent and refined through craftsmanship and detail.
Some builds are about filling a gap. Others are about fulfilling a long-standing want.
Chen Guo has always been a fan of Prova Cycles. So when it was finally time to add a gravel bike to his lineup, the decision felt natural. The Mostro Integrale was the one that made perfect sense ; refined, purposeful, and distinctly Prova.

He did not own a gravel bike yet and If he was going to do it, he wanted to to get it done properly.
What first caught his attention was the titanium fork he saw on Prova’s Instagram. Clean, sculpted, and unapologetically premium.

Then there was the hidden wedge seat clamp design that makes the Titanium seatpost looked as though it is a titanium integrated seat post. Much subtle, integrated, and beautifully executed. It is the kind of detail that does not scream for attention, but once you notice it, you cannot unsee it.

It was enough to steer the build in one clear direction, full titanium.
A full titanium frameset, paired with a matching Prova titanium seatpost to keep the foundation cohesive from front to back. No half measures.

He had also seen one of our previous Prova projects and immediately connected with the colourway. A pink to gold fade anodized finish that is modern, sharp and of identity. A look that simply sticks with you.

From the beginning, a 1x setup was non-negotiable. Clean lines, minimal clutter and gravel done the way he prefers it. The SRAM Red XPLR groupset delivered exactly that: top-tier performance wrapped in a streamlined aesthetic that complements the Mostro’s titanium silhouette.

Wheel choice was just as deliberate. The Scope Artech 4.G stood out for its width, stiffness, and overall presence, backed by strong reviews. Paired with Rene Herse Corkscrew Climb tyres, the setup reflects the terrain he intends to ride which are mixed surfaces, longer days out, purposeful gravel miles.

Even the finishing details follow the same philosophy. The Alpitude 3D-printed Version cages bring a modern technical edge to the build ; lightweight, precisely engineered, and visually at home against the titanium silhouette. A subtle addition, but one that completes the package without excess.

From initial planning to final completion, the entire project took eight months. This was surprising for Chen Guo who expected it to take longer.

In the end, the Mostro came together exactly as envisioned. A full titanium gravel build executed without compromise, and a long-awaited addition that Chen Guo is genuinely happy with.

Some bikes fill a category.
This one does it with conviction.
