Hed Cycling is an American operated and privately own company. Based in Minneapolis, most manufacturing and assembling are done in their own US factory. First started in the mid-1980s by founder Steve Hed, the company continues to embody his design philosophy which led to the ground breaking C2 rims. The company values quality and happy customers over unbridled growth or protecting the bottom line.
The H3 has propelled more Grand Tour riders to the podium than any other wheel. Why? The H3 is the ultimate in all wind conditions. Whether it is a headwind, crosswind, or tailwind, the H3 is fast. Other wheels (even HED Cycling) are certainly speedy, but they have a specific wind range in which they excel.
The H3 is available in either full carbon tubular, or a clincher version with alloy braking surface. Both feature the same blade shape and 55mm deep rim section. The narrow rim profile means that the H3 works in even the narrowest TT frames.
